⭐ Lumos Odessa Idol – Official Rules & Requirements.

Thank you for entering Lumos Odessa Idol, presented by Lumos Honda.
Please review the rules below to ensure a fair and exciting competition.

📍 SECTION 1 — ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION

1. Contest is open to ages 18 and older only.
2. Valid photo ID may be required to verify age.
3. One entry per contestant.
4. Contestants must submit a YouTube video audition through the official registration form.
5. Contestants must be available to attend:
   • Semifinals at Lumos Honda (if selected)
   • Grand Finale at the official venue (if selected)

📍 SECTION 2 — VIDEO AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

1. Video must clearly show the contestant singing.
2. Video must be recorded specifically for Lumos Odessa Idol.
3. Maximum video length: 2 minutes.
4. No profanity, hate speech, or inappropriate content.
5. Background music is allowed; no auto-tune or heavy vocal effects.
6. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube and set to Public or Unlisted.

📍 SECTION 3 — SEMIFINALS SELECTION (TOP 15)

1. Lumos Honda Idol staff will review all video submissions.
2. Facebook reactions will be included as part of the selection process.
3. The Top 15 contestants will be selected based on:
   • Judges’ scores
   • Facebook audience reactions
4. Selected contestants will be invited to perform live at Lumos Honda.

📍 SECTION 4 — SEMIFINALS EVENT (TOP 15 → TOP 10)

1. Semifinals will be held live at Lumos Honda.
2. Each contestant performs one song.
3. Advancement to the Top 10 will be determined by:
   • Judges’ scores – 70%
   • Facebook reactions on semifinal performance videos – 30%
4. Facebook reactions will be counted at a specific cutoff time announced by Lumos Honda.
5. Judges’ decisions are final.

📍 SECTION 5 — GRAND FINALE (TOP 10)

1. Top 10 contestants will perform live at the official finale venue.
2. Each contestant will perform one full song.
3. Outfits, choreography, and props are allowed but must remain family-friendly and safe.
4. Final judging criteria:
5. Vocals – 45%
6. Showmanship – 25%
7. Crowd Engagement – 20%
8. Creativity – 10%
9. Winners will be announced the same night.

📍 SECTION 6 — CONDUCT & FAIR PLAY

1. Contestants must maintain respectful and professional behavior.
2. No manipulation of voting, fake accounts, or reaction-buying.
3. Lumos Honda reserves the right to remove any contestant for rule violations.
4. All judging and voting results are final.
5. No profanity, offensive lyrics, or inappropriate behavior.
6. Respect all judges, staff, contestants, and audience members.
7. Unsafe behavior may result in immediate disqualification.
8. Lumos Honda reserves the right to remove any contestant for misconduct.

📍 SECTION 7 — PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded for:

• 1st Place – Lumos Odessa Idol Champion
• 2nd Place
• 3rd Place
• Audience Favorite (based on Facebook reactions)

📍 SECTION 8 — MEDIA RELEASE

By participating, contestants agree that:

• Lumos Honda may use photos, videos, and recordings for promotional purposes.
• No additional compensation will be provided beyond prizes awarded.

📍 SECTION 9 — ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Submission of the registration form confirms acceptance of all rules and requirements for Lumos Odessa Idol.
